双流棠湖小学好还是实验学校好（双流区棠湖小学IUTC国际理解教育主题课程）

成都市双流区棠湖小学向来重视对学生全球胜任力的培养，学校通过IUTC国际理解教育主题课程引领学生开展主题式研究型学习，包含以全球胜任力、世界文化、中华传统文化和社会热点为主题的课程，关注全球发展力求培养具有中国灵魂、大国情怀、国际视野、能够进行跨文化交流、能够参与国际竞争与合作的现代儿童。

In correlation with our studies of Chinese traditional stories. The year one students studied the Chinese idiom of the monkeys fishing for the moon.

为提升学生传承传播中华文化意识和能力，深化中华文化价值认同，增强文化自信，传播好中国声音，一年级IUTC国际理解教育主题课程学习了英文版的中国传统成语故事《猴子捞月》。

We started by watching a short video of the story, then we moved on to learning how to tell the story in English - using short, simple sentences and practising the important vocabulary words such as “moon”, “well”, “tree,” monkey,” and “chain”.

孩子们通过观看小视频，激发学习兴趣，同时借助肢体语言理解以下重点词汇：“moon”, “well”, “tree,” monkey,” and “chain”，并在教师的引导下利用简单易懂的句子绘声绘色地讲述故事。

To support the story and the theme ， the students also learnt two songs; Five Little Monkeys and Monkey Banana. These songs helped to strengthen their language skills whilst also were a chance to have fun and work on coordination through the dances.

为让孩子们更加理解故事主题，教师还带领孩子们学习了两首与猴子有关的歌曲Five Little Monkeys 和 Monkey Banana.这些歌曲有助于加强孩子们的语言技能，同时也能通过舞蹈获得乐趣。

Through the traditional stories, the children are able to learn an important part of their Chinese culture and gain the ability to share it with others.

用英文讲好中国故事，融实践性、知识性、文化性、趣味性于一体,营造了浓郁的英语气氛,拓宽了学生英语学习渠道，弘扬了中华传统文化，有利于促进中外人文交流。
